Makes you laugh? What have you ever done that you felt better after you finished than when you started? What would you love to spend an afternoon doing (but haven't had time)? That's probably what you need to do to get that battery re-charged. Maybe it's vegging out at a movie marathon for an afternoon or evening. Maybe it's playing outdoors with the kids; reading a book; taking a bath. Maybe it's working in the garden, or just taking a nice long, quiet walk. It's probably something that you've been neglecting that you really need to do. For you. No, not for work. Just for you. Here's the philosophy: If your battery is not fully charged - physically, emotionally & spiritually - what do you have to give? People are depending upon you. They deserve the premium package that you are when you are in your prime. Create that premium you by disciplining yourself to take a little time off to recharge. For you. For them. And for peak performance.
